About Us: The Frosty Freez

Purchased in 1984 by Kitty & Bob Buster and Jay Deen & Jay Federer, we have cherished the years working together as a family in this fun, lively atmosphere. Kitty and Jay Deen, sisters who have lived in Big Timber nearly all their lives, built the business with these values in mind: family, community, hard work, integrity and service.

The Frosty Freez is so much more than an eatery. It is the heart of the town's social scene, a great place to work, a place to meet family and friends, and a home away from home for many. What makes the Frosty Freez so special? Some say the food, some say the owners, some say the staff. We say the customers are what makes the Freez such a special place. And we are honored to have served them for over 30 years.
